Well, there hasn't been much new to add re: the house recently, though we have been (slowly) making progress. The bathroom is nearly ready to receive its tile work (drywall is mostly finished) and the drywalling throughout the rest of the house is nearly done as well. We ran out of mud yesterday, though, so I need to go pick some more up so we can finally get that all out of the way. Dad hooked the bathtub drain up, though, so that's nearly done.
Still to do: MBR: floors, touch up paint, trim pieces for ceiling
MBR bath: tile, paint, install fixtures & hardware
Main bath: tile, paint, install fixtures & hardware
hallway: paint
Nick's room: pull carpet, refinish floor, paint
Office/Craft Room: touch up paint, install shelving
Kitchen: finish mudding/ceiling, install pantry, create/tile countertops, purchase/install backsplash, tile floors, paint (walls & ceiling)
Dining Room: finish paint, shampoo carpet
Living Room: paint, shampoo carpet
Nick's game room: touch up paint, shampoo carpet
So... another few months of work, moving at our current pace... But only the first 3 really need to be done so I can move in, followed by the kitchen.
I hope everyone enjoyed a happy Thanksgiving. I was in CA with *all* my family (mom's and dad's sides), save for 3 cousins. It was tremendous fun. We surprised most of mom's family (they didn't know we were coming). Only real black spot was when mom hit a buck with the rental car (police had to put it out of its misery) - no one was injured (save the poor deer), thankfully, and it made for a memorable story... but it's too bad it happened all the same. The meat was to go to poor families, though, so hopefully some good came out of it.
