Act One - continued (The Bathroom) - Slow Going

Still a long way from done

 

I haven't written much re: the house recently, 'cause there's just not much new to tell.  Working on the house on "available Saturdays" and a couple hours on "spare evenings" doesn't really go too far when you're trying to remodel *everything* simultaneously...  Dad and I have both remarked that we just need to take a couple weeks off work so we can get some things DONE...

One thing we did accomplish this weekend, though, was straightening that pesky inner wall between the bathroom and my closet.  It took most of the day, but it finally sits perpendicular to the floor.  Now we just need to tape/mud the corners and ceiling on both sides of the wall (and repair the drywall where we had to remove a patch).  Woohoo.

I need to call about the backordered tiles for the master bathroom - they ought to be available by now.  Soon we can put both bathrooms back together, and my house will have running water again.  It's the little things in life, you know.

My back's really starting to ache after sleeping on the air mattress/sofa bed for so long.  It'll be nice to have my own bed set up again.

Plus, the sun room is getting REALLY cold now that the weather is changing...
